Meet the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Tampa Bay Caregiving: Jennifer Henius, LCSW.

Jennifer is a local Tampa Bay area health consultant, licensed clinical social worker and military spouse with more than 20 years serving Veterans, their families and caregivers with the Department of Veteran Affairs.  Most notably, Jennifer served on the national leadership team for VA’s Caregiver Support Program and remains active in the military/veteran community. She is an alumni and former Adjunct Professor of the University of South Florida, School of Social Work. Go Bulls!

Jennifer is a nationally recognized family caregiver advocate and LGBTQ+ ally who is passionate about supporting caregiver health and well-being to reduce caregiver burnout and prevent chronic disease. She is the founder of Caregiver Whole Health™ (coming soon) and the creator of Yoga4Caregivers. She’s also the founder of the Caregiver Wellness Collective Inc., a nonprofit startup based in Dunedin, home of the LGBTQ Caregiver Center; a virtual resource hub aimed to support those who give care in the LGBTQ+ community.
